The whole Cristain and Alicient relationship NEVER HAPPENED in the books. The writers only made this a thing just please shippers and make the Greens look worse. In the books, there is alot of hints that the old Valeryans breed different animals together to create Dragons, and even breed themselves with Dragons to gain the ability to bond with Dragons, you can see some tapestry in the background in Season 1 descripting peoples breeding with Dragons. So yeah, the Targaryen always calling themselves Bloods of the Dragon so it might be literal, Danaerys miscarriage in the books also look like a Dragon with Wings and stuff.

You can really see the generational abuse and trauma that team green has. Otto gives no support to Alicent at all as a father and Alicent does the same thing to her children. She doesn’t know how to comfort any of them because of how Otto treated her and the way she left Aegon crying alone is just cold. Plus, Otto forces Alicent to do things she doesn’t want to do and yet Alicent forces her own daughter to do things she doesn’t want to do. It’s no wonder why Aegon, Helaena, and Aemond are the way they are. You can really see the comparison between Rhaenyra and Alicent as mothers. As least Rhaenyra is affectionate and loving.

It's unfortunate this movie didn't do well, since it was very good. I think it ended up being more of an adult targeted movie than for kids, which is probably why. It deals with some pretty mature life events.

The smoothing out of her skin is definitely a factor, you're right. But also, the studio had ten years to consistently tweak and perfect the CG models they use for Hulk. Jen's CG model looks to be about the level of Hulk in Age of Ultron. It'll get more polished in time.

i'm not of the opinion that eloise or penelope have historically been particularly good friends to each other, but in eloise's defense, it's not as though penelope made her feelings known to her. eloise and penelope only see each other for a few months a year for the season. they probably send letters back and forth in the rest of the year, but that's the only facetime they get. "marina noticed, and she wasn't around very long!" marina explicitly told her that she planned to marry colin, to the point where pen got frustrated and it was then that marina noticed. "it was so obvious!" sure, to us. but we're the audience, and we know we're watching a love story. my point is that there are genuine things to criticize eloise for: her disregard of cressida's plight this season, her blindness to the privilege of being a bridgerton vs. penelope's precarious position in society, etc. but she's not a narcissist because she didn't know something that was being intentionally hidden from her.

IMO the best version of this song is the 2 of them singing it at the Grammy awards in 1999. Every note is perfect and their synchronization never fails.
